At the unofficial “Nobel Prize for Music”, Crown Princess Victoria von Sweden almost stole the show to the award winners.

The awarding of the Polar Music Prize is traditionally also an important appointment in the calendar of the Swedish Royals. And as in previous years, Crown Princess Victoria (46) in particular attracted attention.

She relies on Swedish designers

While in 2023 they stood out in a bright yellow asymmetrical dress by the Swedish fashion company H&M under their darkly dressed family, this time Victoria also opted for a black combination. But thanks to a graded skirt, high leg slit and a shoulder -free top, she was again the eye -catcher in the Grand Hotel Stockholm next to her brother Prince Carl Philip (46) and husband Prince Daniel (51).

As reported, the voluminous skirt with leg slit is a creation by the Swedish designer Selam Fessahaye. To do this, the crown princess once more combined black pumps from Gianvito Rossi. The striking jewelry (a branched XL chain and chandelier earrings) comes from the Swedish designer Maria Nilsdotter.

This time Queen Silvia was the royal splash of color in silver-gray

In contrast to the last year, Victoria’s brother came without his wife Sofia (40), who only gave birth to the fourth child with daughter Ines on February 7th. This time Prince Daniel accompanied the Royals – he was missing in 2024. Both men, as well as King Carl XVI. Gustaf (79), chose classic suits.

Queen Silvia (81) wore a long, silver-gray evening dress for the award ceremony, in which the queen musicians Brian May and Roger Taylor were honored for their life’s work. As with other appearances in the past few weeks, she came with a walking stick, which she relies on after her foot operation in April 2025.

The Polar Music Prize is the largest music award in Sweden. The prize was founded in 1989 by the late ABBA manager Stig Anderson (1931-1997).
