Deborra-Lee Furness has now broken her silence and describes Hugh Jackman’s separation as “a deep wound that hurts heavily”. “However, I believe in a higher power and in the fact that God/the universe, whatever you consider as his leadership, always works for us,” she is quoted further. This belief helped her to cope with the failure of her almost three decades of marriage.

FURNESS and Jackman married in 1996. In 2000 the two son Oscar adopted, in 2005 daughter Ava. They announced their separation in September 2023.
