Princess Diana: House near the last resting place burned down

A farmhouse on the site of the Aldhorp House land in the English county of Northamptonshire may have fallen victim to the victim. Althorp House is the parents’ home of the tragically deceased Princess Diana (1961-1997). The mother of Prince William (42) and Prince Harry (40) also found their final resting place on the family seat of the Spencers.

“With astonishment, I learned that one of the farmhouses of Althorp House, which was luckily uninhabited at the time, was apparently burned down by Vandalen last night,” writes Charles Spencer (61), younger brother of Lady di ,. It is “very sad that someone thinks something like that is fun”. Accordingly, the fire could have been arson on May 27th. ADEY Greeno, wild keeper of the Althorp House, also spoken of “an intentional act of vandalism”.

The police from Northamptonshire, on the other hand, communicate that the incident was “not currently registered as a crime”. If there are any information, this can change soon. David Fawkes, managing director of Althorp Estate, also explains that at the moment you don’t know why the fire broke out. “The farmhouse was built in the late 18th century and completely destroyed by the fire, but the surrounding outbuildings are undamaged,” explains Fawkes. The house had been uninhabited for several years.

The property has been owned by the Spencer family for centuries. Lady Di, born Spencer, is said to be from the divorce of her parents to the wedding with the later King Charles III. (76). The couple was also divorced in the summer of 1996. Around a year later, Diana died of the consequences of an accident in Paris. She was buried in the family seat.
