The first trailer of Titan: Oceangate’s disaster It is full of testimonies of those who met the expedition company and its billionaire executive director, Stockton Rush. The American businessman was one of the five passengers who died on June 18, 2023, while the compact submersible descended on the way to the remains of Titanic, and Rush is now in the sights of all the commentators as the villain of this tragic story.
“There was no way to know when Titan would fail,” says an interviewee. “But it was mathematically sure it would fail.”
While a person interviewed for Titan states that Rush “fully believed in what he was doing and that he would work,” another says: “wanted fame.” A third interviewee goes even further: “I thought Stockton was a psychopath to the limit.”
