Bruce Willis: He is so touching with granddaughter Louetta

Rumer Willis (36) and Derek Richard Thomas, the father of her daughter Louetta (2), broke up last year. She is now a “single mother and make co-parenting”, she reported in a story in a story on Instagram in August 2024. The actress and eldest daughter of Bruce Willis (70) should certainly also get back with her family. As she now tells, both her mother, Demi Moore (62) and the former action star are great grandparents. And despite his dementia, Bruce Willis is also very touching with his little granddaughter.

“My mother is for Lou ‘yaya’,” says Rumer Willis. Even if Grandma Demi has already shown the animation adventure “Vaiana” against Mama Rumer’s will, the 36-year-old could not be angry for long. “They love each other,” she says above Demi and Louetta. “I mean, you should see how she lights up when they are on Facetime when we are gone.” It is simply “sweet” and her mother can “handle babies incredibly well”. Seeing the two together is a great pleasure: “They are so silly and wonderful.”

“Despite his challenges, even my father shines all over his face when we visit him,” Rumer Willis continues. “He is so excited and so nice to her.” But the whole family is “incredible” and “how obsessed” by her child.

With these “challenges” Rumer obviously says her father’s illness. The celebrated action star has been in acting pension for more than three years. At the end of March 2022, his family announced that Bruce Willis suffers from the language disorder aphasia and therefore ends his career. In February 2023 it became known that he was ill from frontotemporal dementia.

The family, including his daughters Rumer, Scout (33) and Tallulah (31), his wife Emma Heming-Willis (46) and his ex-wife Demi Moore, always gives updates how Bruce Willis is doing. “Today it is 16 years of love of our lives. We shared monumental heights and devastating depths, and through all of this we have built up something timeless,” wrote Heming-Willis on the 16th wedding anniversary. The two have the common daughters Mabel (13) and Evelyn (11).
