Barack and Michelle Obama spent time together at a dinner. Your answer to an alleged marriage crisis?
No trace of a marriage crisis: Barack (63) and Michelle Obama (61) enjoyed a little break at a dinner. On Tuesday, the former US President and his wife visited a restaurant in Manhattan, New York. Both threw themselves in shell for the date: Michelle Obama chose a black long-sleeved dress with ruffles and slingback pumps, as photos of the magazine show. To do this, she wore a black clutch, silver bangles and earrings. The ex-president chose a black jacket, suit shoes and dark gray trousers.
In the pictures you can see how Michelle Obama rises in a car in front of her husband. In doing so, she again clears speculations about an alleged marriage crisis. They last persistent after not accompanying her husband to Donald Trumps (78) inauguration and Jimmy Carter (1924-2024).
Michelle Obama answers the rumors
In April, Michelle Obama said that her lack had nothing to do with her husband. Women would have to deal with it, to disappoint others, she said. “So much that people couldn’t even understand that I made a decision for myself that they had to assume that my husband and I divorce.” She also made it clear: “I decided to do what was best for me. Not what I had to do. Not what I thought, what others expect from me.”
She also denied the rumors of divorce in a few weeks ago. “If I had problems with my husband, everyone would know that,” she said. The nice thing about her marriage is “that none of us ever really wanted to give up, because we just are not like that,” she explained.
The time in the White House in particular should not have been easy for the couple. During his presidency, he was in a “big deficit” in marriage, said Obama, according to a report. In the years after, he tried to make up for a lot.
