Elizabeth Banks worked as a maid before her Hollywood career. Now she reveals what she experienced.
Elizabeth Banks (51) has long been established in Hollywood, but the way there was anything but glamorous. Before the actress could be seen in films such as “Die Tribute von Panem” or “Pitch Perfect”, she had to stay afloat with various jobs. In the “Kelly Clarkson Show” Banks now spoke openly about this time and revealed details from her past as a maid.
“I started to work really early. I’ve already done everything,” she said moderator Kelly Clarkson (43). Banks worked as a waitress for ten years, and she was also a maid in a bed-and-breakfast.
Elizabeth Banks plaster toilets
When Clarkson jokingly asked whether she worked in a castle, for example, since the word “maid” sounded so noble, Banks summed up the matter: she cleaned toilets. In this activity, the 51 -year -old saw some things that other hotel guests left in the rooms – and has a clear appeal to hotel guests.
“Please do nothing else than toilet paper,” asked the spectators to the audience. “The number of condoms and tampons that I had to get out of toilets as a 17-year-old was considerable.”
Hard work as a life experience
Banks sees the difficult jobs of their youth as valuable experience. “Kelly, I can go anywhere,” she told the moderator. “This is not a glamorous life. You come to many crazy places and I think every time: ‘I have experienced worse things.'”
Today Elizabeth Banks is a versatile artist: she not only stands in front of the camera, but also directs and produces films. After acting, roles in plays and first supporting roles in series, she celebrated her breakthrough with the film “Seabiscuit – with the will to success” in 2003.
Her appearance on the “Kelly Clarkson Show” took place to match the premiere of her new Prime video series “The Better Sister”, in which she can be seen alongside Jessica Biel (43).
