After months of separation rumors, Lisa and Thomas Müller show together at a riding event in Munich.
They were pictures that many had been waiting for: Lisa and Thomas Müller (both 35) showed themselves together in public at the “Horse International” in Munich on Thursday. After a time full of speculations about a possible marriage crisis, the two, according to media reports, looked relaxed and familiar with each other.
While the outgoing Bayern star introduced his stallion “Erste Sahne” on the Olympic reserve in Riem, Lisa completed a dressage exam with her Hanoverian “Dantiamo” and reached fifth place. Thomas followed her performance carefully from the audience, applauded enthusiastically and then accompanied his wife to the riding arena.
Bright comment on the rumors
Thomas even handed his Lisa his riding gloves, joked with her team and beamed at her after her ride. Lisa Knapp replied whether she was separated from the former international, but clearly: “You can see that today.”
Thomas Müller himself kept more covered. The question of whether he was proud of his wife, he said and only said: “You can ask all questions.” A detailed statement on the separation rumors failed to materialize – instead, he preferred to talk about his passion for horse breeding. After her performance, Lisa joined her riding colleagues in the VIP tent, where Thomas and some friends also took a seat. According to media reports, the two also looked relaxed and familiar there.
Stubborn speculation for months
The rumors about a marriage crisis had persisted since last summer. Among other things, it was speculated that Lisa was not present at Thomas’s last Bundesliga game on May 17th in the Allianz Arena. The two also no longer follow themselves on Instagram, and Lisa had deleted all photos together with Thomas from her profile.
Thomas Müller spoke at the event about the couple’s common passion: “Horses are definitely our great passion. That takes a lot of time and thinking processes all year round.” He raved about his stallion: “A fantastic horse, in motion and character. I covered a lot with him, he has the athlete in it.”
The couple have been successfully breeding horses for years and has known each other since youth. In 2009 they said yes, in 2017 they even played together in a episode of the evening series “Hubert and Staller”.
