Gigi and Bella Hadid have four siblings: Whoever belongs to the famous model family

When it comes to the name “Hadid”, two faces come to mind: that of the sisters Gigi (30) and Bella (28), internationally celebrated supermodels who have dominated the catwalks of the world for years. But the Hadid family consists of more than just the two sisters – and has now become surprisingly growing.

This week, Gigi and Bella Hadid made it public in a statement that they have another half -sister: Aydan Nix, 23 years old, fashion designer and stylist. The young woman from Florida only learned a few years ago through a DNA test that she belongs to the Hadid family. In 2023, the first personal contact between the three young women occurred. Aydan is now said to have spent time with the entire Hadid family – also with her biological father Mohamed Hadid (78).

If you look at the family constellation, you notice that in addition to the Kardashian-Jenner clan, the Hadids are one of the most complex patchwork families in Hollywood. Who belongs to the famous Hadid family? Mohamed Hadid has a total of six children with three different women. He was born in Nazareth in 1948, his family had to flee in the same year, first to Syria, then to Lebanon. They later emigrated to the USA. Hadid worked as a young man as a model and later as a real estate developer.

From his first marriage to Mary Butler, his oldest daughters, Marielle (44) and Alana (41) – also called “the other Hadid sisters”. Both are less in the spotlight than their famous half -sisters, but are also active in creative areas – including as a designer, activist and filmmaker. Marielle is the mother of two children, Alana recently engaged.

Gigi (actually Jelena Noura) and Bella (actually Isabella Khair) also have a younger brother, Anwar (25). The three siblings come from Mohamed Hadid’s marriage to reality star and ex-model Yolanda Hadid (61), with whom he was married from 1994 to 2000. All three children work in the model business – some of them since childhood. Gigi and Bella in particular became world famous. Anwar Hadid also made headlines with his relationship with the British singer Dua Lipa (28).

Gigi Hadid is already a mother herself: the model, together with ex-one-direction star Zayn Malik (32), has the daughter Khai, born in September 2020. Bella Hadid was in a relationship with musician The Weeknd (35) a few years ago, now she is in a relationship with the Cowboy Adan Banuelos.

Yolanda Hadid, native of Dutch, was seen for several years – sometimes also together with her children – in the reality show “Real Hosuewives of Beverly Hills”. During this time, Yolanda Hadid was dating with the Canadian music producer David Foster – father of actresses and series makers Erin and Sara Foster. In 2017 they divorced. She has been with the entrepreneur Joseph Jingoli since 2019 and has also been engaged since 2022.

Hadid’s, Aydan Nix, who has become public, comes from a short relationship with a woman named Terri Hatfield Dull, who, according to media reports, worked as a mortgage consultant. The liaison is said to have taken place shortly after its divorce from Yolanda in 2001. Mohamed Hadid always knew about Aydan’s existence, but there was never a close relationship. He did not provide financial support.

One thing seems to combine the Hadids: a certain creative streak. Whether on the catwalk, in design, music or in the interior area – almost all family members chose an artistic path. Even father Mohamed, primarily known as a building lion, had worked as a model at a young age.
