“No Angel” Sandy Mölling has been living with her family in California for ten years. Now she wants to leave the country – and there is a special reason.
The United States wants to leave no-fishing singer Sandy Mölling after ten years. She was currently putting her residence back from California back to Germany, said the 44-year-old of the “Fuldaer Zeitung” (Saturday edition). The reason: Donald Trump. “That was the main reason. Above all, Trump’s re -election. I don’t know if you really notice everything that happens in the USA,” she said.
“It is worrying when you see how many small companies have already passed through the tariffs; when you see that books are banished, that the LGBTQ community is restricted in its rights, that untruths are spread that racism is on the rise.”
Her son was dark -skinned and “had a lot of racism in his young life because it is simply part of the system. You shouldn’t forget how it looked for black in the United States a few decades ago,” she emphasized in the interview.
The situation in California
“We may live a bit in a bubble in California – as you know, it is not exactly the favorite state of Trump. But there you can also notice how the middle class disappears. The gap is getting bigger and bigger, there are rich, there are poor – and in between very little.”
