It sounds like classic development. Hauser grew up in a family of musicians. The father as a professional musician left the son many freedoms, who was able to go an interesting way, as he says in an OÖN conversation. “When I was five years old, I started playing the piano, had a lot of experience over the years, especially with classical music, but also with jazz and singing.”
At the same time, Hauser had a pronounced fascination for technology as a child and adolescent, which brought him to mechanical engineering (HTL, later studies). The music went along in parallel.
Talent recognized early
According to the Salzburg, the supposedly very different worlds have many similarities. “Composing and constructing both patterns follow, the result is a piece of music or a drawing.” The fact that it ultimately pulled him entirely to music was because he recognized a gift early on. “When I come into contact with people or with people where there is a story, I suck the information up and can reproduce it in music.” Since its first composition at the age of twelve, music has become a strong tool for Hauser to process emotional situations.
Even if it was professionally drawn into mechanical engineering, the dream always remained the dream of telling stories with his compositions that promote a connection in society and to highlight the value of human life ”. This dream has become stronger and now he lives out in a special way. He has become a musical peace ambassador.
Jonathan Hauser has composed around 20 pieces since 2015, gradually being published. The music simply arises that he couldn’t help it, he describes to explain his inspiration based on one of his last compositions. “For this composition, which belongs to a video project, on which I work with a Ukrainian painter, we were in Ukrainian in Ukraine and had a whole day. My whole emotion had to get out, ”says Hauser.
What became clear to him through contact with a friend who works in a humanitarian aid organization because he repeatedly traveled to the war zone in Ukraine, culminated in the music project “Piano for Peace in Ukraine”. The music project “Leben” impresses – because the power of music and pictures is stronger than many words can be.
Hauser about …
… his compositions: “Many of my compositions are full of the intensity of life, moments of joy and suffering. That runs through with me.”
… the step to the professional musician: “I also take the entrepreneurial heart that I carry in me in the musical act. I love to network with people, and I realize that it is important to me to tell stories and use stories for topics, and I therefore link a lot to music. With the decision to do this now as a profession, I already have the goal of being internationally in a few years.”
… his projects with other artists: “I like people with whom I feel that there is a story and who have their art form, and love to link me to them. That it costs me, but also to society, to approach each other and to live appreciatively, I would also like to live in my projects.”
… his idea: “I have always had my own projects from an early age. I have always had an idea of what I wanted to do, and then I was completely there. Once I imagined that I made a prototype for hand prostheses in the HTL with four school colleagues, where you can measure the nerve streams. I also founded a football club in my neighboring town because I always wanted to bring people together. that I had in Ukraine. “
