David Beckham and Tom Cruise commented on the CL final from Munich. “It’s a great city, a great country,” said Cruise.
What a very special spectacle: While Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan dueled the European football crown on the lawn of the Munich Alliance Arena (5: 0 for Paris), two other superstars fought their own match on the microphone. Hollywood icon Tom Cruise (62) and football legend David Beckham (50) commented on the Champions League final.
As part of the show “Beckham & Friends Live”, the two pursued the final of the premier class and shared their impressions for the American spectators. For Cruise it was “Mission Uefa” instead of “Mission Impossible” – a welcome change from the current doctorate of his latest action film “Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning” throughout the world.
“David invited me, and of course I came,” said the confessed football fan Cruise. He has known Beckham for decades and also saw him playing himself. Both call themselves good friends. “It is a great city, it is a great country,” surprised Cruise with his enthusiasm for Munich and Germany. It was also an honor for him to be on site.
Munich-connoisseur cruise again in the Bavarian capital
Tom Cruise was once again a big Munich fan. The 62-year-old Hollywood star has a special relationship with the Bavarian capital and already enjoyed a measure at the Augustinian cellar in 2010 when his film “Knight and Day” celebrated German premiere.
David Beckham was seen on Saturday afternoon before the game on the roof terrace of the “Mandarin Oriental” luxury hotel. The 50-year-old ex-professional stayed in the no less luxurious hotel “Four seasons Kempinski”. His son Romeo (22) was also there.
In addition to Cruise and Beckham, numerous other top stars also pursued the one -sided match in Munich in the end. Among other things, restaurant owners Nusret Gökce (41), better known as “Salt Bae” and football superstar Tom Brady (47) in the Allianz Arena. The Bavarian Prime Minister Markus Söder (58) was of course on site.
