Netflix heats up the mood for his hit series “Wednesday”: Lady Gaga, for example, plays the teacher Rosaline Rotwood in season two. Millions of the new season have already looked.
Gaga as a guest star: Netflix has confirmed the rumor that pop star Lady Gaga (39) plays along in the second season of the success series “Wednesday”. In addition, the first six minutes of the second season (start on August 6th) were released at the weekend, which clicked a few million fans worldwide within the first 24 hours. The series executive is the legendary Tim Burton (“Beetlejuice”, “Ed Wood”, “Mars Attacks!”).
“Lady Gaga will play the mysterious and enigmatic Rosaline Rotwood, a legendary NEEMORE teacher whose paths cross with those of Wednesday Addams,” said Netflix after his fan event Tudum (named after the noise before every start of the streaming service). Lady Gaga performed elaborately at the show in Los Angeles.
The hit series “Wednesday”, a “Addams Family” offshoot, revolves around the family’s daughter of the same name. Jenna Ortega (22) plays the title -giving leading role. In the series, Wednesday is studying Addams at the NEEMORE Academy and discovering their superpowers there.
Lady Gaga was nominated for an Oscar in 2019 as the main actress in the music drama “A Star is Born”. She won the Oscar for “Shallow” as the best film song. Then she played in the family drama “House of Gucci”.
The film “Joker: Folie à Deux”, continuation of the award -winning thriller “Joker”, alongside Joaquin Phoenix, came to a flop in Gaga’s film career.
