The moderator Steffi Brung has made it public that she had cervical cancer.
In Hawaii, Steffi Brungs (36) gave Christian Wackert (36) about six years ago. For the moderator and her husband, however, a difficult time followed very soon, as she is now making public. Just a few weeks later she was diagnosed with cervical cancer.
On Instagram, which the two showed on the beach at the time. “Today I share something very personal with you: just a few weeks after our dreamy wedding in Hawaii, cervical cancer was diagnosed with me,” she writes. Fortunately, she apparently defeated the cancer, because as Brung continues: “It was incredibly difficult for me to talk about it for a long time. Today I can. Because I am so incredibly grateful for being healthy.”

Some colleagues and many fans express their support in the comments. The moderators Annika Lau (46), Laura Papendick (36) and Marlene Lufen (54) as well as the actress Chrysssanthi Kavazi (36) posts, among other things, cardiac emojis. “You are just mad! Such a great strong woman with so much charisma and personality,” says elsewhere. Or also: “Thank you for sharing this sensitive topic with us. It is all the more beautiful to hear that you are healthy again.” Other users also thank Brungs for their courage to have made the disease public.
Brung is known, among other things, from RTL programs such as “Point 6” or “Point 12”. In January, the moderator and her husband also celebrated its premiere as “Love is blind: Germany” moderations duo at Netflix. “We thought either that works really well now and we have a lot of fun, or it ends in a marriage crisis,” laughed Brungs. “Then we were very relieved to realize that we complement each other well in front of the camera.”
