Being grandpa is probably his most beautiful role: “Hard but warm but warm” star Robert Wagner is proud with his 13-year-old granddaughter.
Actor Robert Wagner (95) is a proud grandfather. For the 13th birthday of his granddaughter Clover, the “hard but warm but warm” star published a rare photo and dedicated warm words to the girl.
“One of the greatest joys in life”
On his Instagram account, he posted a recording on which he sits on a sofa with his granddaughter. He put his arm around her and both laugh in the camera. “Happy 13th birthday, my beautiful granddaughter Clover,” wrote the 95-year-old. “To see how you have grown into such a clever, friendly and spirited young lady is one of the greatest joys of life.”
He also expressed the girl: “Grandma and I are so proud of you and the young woman you will be. Welcome to your teenage years – that’s just the beginning of a wonderful journey. We love you so much.”
Robert Wagner marked Clovers parents, Natasha Gregson Wagner and the “A Heavenly Family” star Barry Watson. Natasha is the oldest daughter of his late wife Natalie Wood, who adopted Wagner. In 1974 the couple got daughter Courtney Wagner. 1981 Wood drowned on a boat tour at the age of only 43.
35th wedding anniversary with his Jill
The actor has only been to be seen occasionally on television in recent years, for example as a stepfather by Charlie Sheen (59) in “Two and Half Men”. From 2009 to 2019 he played Anthony Dinozzo Senior in the crime series “Navy CIS”. In addition to his granddaughter’s birthday, Wagner also had another private occasion to celebrate: he was also able to celebrate the 35th wedding anniversary with his wife Jill St. John (84). On this occasion he posted a video with many pictures of the couple from the past few years.
