The businesswoman could be Meghan’s role model: only last year Tina Knowles and her famous daughter Beyoncé launched the hair care line Cécred. However, family cooperation does not always seem to be easy. “Of course there are disagreements – and they have to exist. But I’m always the one who gives way,” admits Knowles in the episode under the title “From a mom to mogulin”. “If my children are mad at me, I can’t endure it. Then I give in. If we don’t agree, it is your decision – so she wins.”

Princess Kate is back: her fate in pictures

Princess Kate started turbulent in 2024. In January, the wife of heir to the throne, William, had to undergo a planned operation on the abdomen. The recovery would continue, said the palace at the time. She would withdraw for three months, it said. And although the palace had announced that the popular princess would not appear publicly, her absence caused conspiracy theories. The rumors were fired by Kate himself when the palace posted a family picture edited by the princess with Photoshop. It shows Kate with the three children Louis, George and Charlotte

Knowles, in turn, emphasized that Beyoncé “could actually be a hairdresser” – after all, she grew up to look over her mother in the salon. Then she raves about the singer’s hair: “She is on stage under hot headlights, wears wigs – and yet she managed to keep her own hair beautiful and healthy. This is anything but easy in the show business.” Duchess Meghan adds that during her time as an actress in the “Suits” series, she was often advised to wear wigs – but she deliberately decided against it.
“How many tears did I shed?”
Meghan also comes to speak to her new lifestyle brand AS Ever. “We planned for a year – and then everything was sold out within 45 minutes. Incredible. Great news,” said the Duchess. The initial shortage may have been an incentive, similar to a sneaker drop. But Meghan emphasizes that the public usually only sees the finished product and the striking moments – but not what happens in the background. “How many tears I shed,” she openly admits in conversation with Tina Knowles.
The first season of Duchess Meghan’s podcast “Confessions of a Female Founder” ended on May 27 with the eighth episode – a conversation with Spanx founder Sara Blakely. But surprisingly, Meghan announced a bonus sequence on May 29. This had apparently already been recorded on May 5: In conversation with Tina Knowles, the Duchess mentioned that her son Prince Archie “tomorrow” would be six years old. And added with a smile: “Where did the time have been?”
