Arnold Schwarzenegger is happy about his son Patrick’s career. In a double interview, the two talked about success and nude scenes.
The “Terminator” talks to his son Patrick Schwarzenegger (31) about success and nude scenes. Arnold Schwarzenegger (77) reveals his thoughts to make his son drop the covers for the streaming success series “The White Lotus”.
“Your acting surprised me to death. I didn’t recognize you. I was blown away,” says Arnold Schwarzenegger in one. Now everyone in the gym would come up to him and said: “Your son is fantastic.” Others, on the other hand, had hated his role. “The greatest learning experience is how much people associate you with your character. I don’t know how often this happened to you in the course of your career – maybe with ‘Terminator’,” replies Patrick Schwarzenegger.
But less about the character in the series than much more about its real background was apparently worried about the casting. “I used to be in my career whether it makes sense to perform under an alias? It took a while to get a point where I was less worried about living in your shadow than wanting to do it as I thought it is right,” says the junior.
“It was a shock for me”
When the duo talked about Arnold’s breakthrough in Hollywood, Arnold says that “Terminator” was the first film that was not about his muscles. “Only the opening scene was naked,” laughs the former governor of California. And his son also undressed in front of the camera.
“I couldn’t believe it,” says Papa Arnold. “I look at your series and I watch your butt look out there. And suddenly I see the sausage. What happens here? This is crazy,” says the 77-year-old about his son’s scene. However, he should not complain, after all, he did the same in “Conan” and “Terminator”, “but it was a shock for me that you stepped so much in my footsteps.”
Arnold Schwarzenegger: Patrick never asked for support
As the son of a well -known actor, Patrick Schwarzenegger would have had it easy to get roles like this, you could think. But Arnold Schwarzenegger corrected the Nepo Baby debate that was much discussed in Hollywood: “You never asked me to call a studio or an agent. You never asked me for advice when it comes to acting.” He was “very, very proud” on his son.
