One leg had to be removed from the TV presenter Björn-Hergen Schimpf. His friend Jörg Draeger informed the sad news.
According to his good friend and colleague Jörg Draeger, the radio and television presenter Björn-Hergen Schimpf had to accept a difficult stroke of fate. In the current issue of the “Bunte” magazine, Draeger reveals that the 81-year-old, who, among other things, has been through the popular council show “What am I?” led, one leg had to be removed.
“Unfortunately, they had to amputate Björn-Hergen, which was of course very bad,” Draeger is quoted. At the same time, however, he suggests that Schimpf from the difficult procedure apparently did not have the joy of life: “Thank God he is still the old one.”
Björn-Hergen Schimpf had health problems
According to the article, the moderator has been suffering from health problems for almost ten years that affected his left leg. In 2016 he had to undergo a bypass surgery to fix an inadequate blood supply. The intervention was able to save your leg back then.
Björn-Hergen Schimpf began his long career as a moderator at Radio Luxembourg in the late 1970s. In addition to the new edition of “What am I?” He presented the travel quiz “a day like no other” and worked for “sonnenklar.tv”. In 2008 he took part in the jungle camp and took eighth place.
