At the request of the “Bild” newspaper, a friend of Borg Høiby explained that the illustrious circle of friends does not surprise him. “Marius knows many wealthy people who still invite him. He is a mixture of rocker type and royal, so many still like to decorate themselves.”
While the police have had the young man on the slip for several years, the public only found out about his scandals last summer. On the first weekend in August 2024, the Son of the Crown Princess in Oslo attacked a young woman. Norwegian media reported that he passed “mentally and physically”. A concussion was diagnosed with the woman who flee out of the apartment and the police. She stayed in a Norwegian clinic for two days. One day after the incident, Borg Høiby was arrested and spent two days in custody, then retired at the Skaugum farm, the residence of the Korn Prinzen family, about 25 kilometers from Oslo. Numerous further allegations and a stay in custody followed.
Since then, there has been little to feel of humility and reluctance.
