Isabella Rossellini is not an unfortunate single. Nevertheless, she is open to a new love – whether with a man or with a woman.
Isabella Rossellini (72), daughter of the Italian director Roberto Rossellini (1906-1977) and the Swedish actress Ingrid Bergman (1915-1982), revealed in an interview with the “Bunte” magazine that she is open to a new love in her life.
When asked about a possible new partnership, Rossellini said: “The chapter is not complete. Perhaps if I meet a great man or a beautiful woman, who knows?” However, as a single, she is not unhappy and is not afraid to be alone in old age. Rossellini, who runs a farm on Long Island away from the Hollywoodrummel, has her family and has every person in her village, so she “never lonely, that makes a very big difference”.
Rossellini has two children. From 1979 to 1982 she was married to directorial legend Martin Scorsese (82). She received her second marriage (1983-1986) with model Jonathan Wiedemann. From 1986 to 1991 she was in a relationship with David Lynch (1946-2025). Rossellini went out of a mistake with actor Gary Oldman (67) after the separation, but a wedding did not come about.
“Terrible to know that life is finally”
On June 18, the actress celebrates her 73rd birthday. “It is somehow terrible to know that life is finally,” says Rossellini in the “Bunte” interview. “It is difficult to imagine yourself, but it will happen.” Nevertheless, she is “still happy” and she hopes that this time will be a long time in coming. And what does the actress do to ensure that she feels comfortable in her body? “I try to be healthy, not to do too much weight and eat things that do my body good so that it stays as flexible as possible.”
