Queen Mary surprises at the Fashion Summit in Copenhagen with a casual, elegant look in gray Bermuda shorts.
Fashionable eye -catcher in the Danish capital: Queen Mary von Denmark (53) once again proves her feel for contemporary elegance at the Global Fashion Summit in Copenhagen. To visit the event in DR Concert Hall, she opted for a gray ensemble that can be described as daring for a queen.
The Australian native wore a casual but very elegant knee-length Bermuda shorts made of gray linen fabric. The matching long-sleeved blazer with a sloping button strip was emphasized by an orange-white patterned belt on the waist. Mary completed the look with brown suede high heels and subtle jewelry. Her brunette hair fell over her shoulders in gentle waves.
Interested visit to the fair
The Queen of Federica Marchionni, the managing director of the Global Fashion Agenda, and chief of staff Alice Roberta Taylor was welcomed and posed with the two women on the red carpet. Then she let herself lead through the event rooms and was extremely interested in the various stands of the fair.
The three -day Global Fashion Summit is dedicated to promoting cooperation in the fashion industry in the field of sustainability and celebrates Copenhagen as the city of minimalist design and trendy street fashion. Mary has been the patron of the Global Fashion Agenda since 2009, which organizes the fashion summit. Her interest in sustainable fashion is also reflected in her own wardrobe: often combines new pieces in public appearances.
Colorful the day before
The day before, Queen Mary caused a stir with her outfit – but rather because of the color. At the reception of the EU delegation at Amalienborg Castle, she stood out in her bright fox-colored dress next to her husband King Frederik (57) in the gray suit and the rather simpler look of the MPs.
