Tom Felton returns as Draco Malfoy
After 15 years, Tom Felton returns as Draco Malfoy in “Harry Potter” – but not on the screen.
The British actor Tom Felton, known from the “Harry Potter” films in the role of Draco Malfoy, will again take on the role of Harry Potter’s blonde rival-this time on a Broadway stage. The 37-year-old celebrates his Broadway debut in the production “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child”, as the actor said. The limited season should last several months until March.
The play plays 19 years after the end of the original history. Draco is now a father and sends his child to Hogwarts together with Harry, Ron and Hermione.
Felton is the first actor from the film ensemble to be seen in a leading role of Broadway production. After the end of the “Harry Potter” series, Felton played, among other things, in “Planet of the monkey: Prevolution”. In 2022 he published his memoirs under the title “Beyond the Wand”.
