Mariah Carey is back with new music. Her single “Type Dangerous” appears today – the first in seven years. Most recently, the American released the album “Caution” in 2018. In the meantime, she published anniversary editions of older hits.
Now there is not only a new single – there is also a 16th studio album! On Instagram, the singer posted a clip with a teaser of the new song. She sits in the car and plays a file entitled “MC16”. The number plate of the car is also “MC 16”. Possibly an indication of the title of the new album.
The singer’s music style moves between R&B, hip-hop and pop. “Type Dangerous” can also be described in this way. There Carey samps the hip-hop song “Eric B. is President” from 1987.
The 56 -year -old artist is known for her broad voice span and has won numerous awards, including five Grammy Awards.
