Trump’s threat preceded
Elon Musk’s attack took place after Trump had threatened to end government contracts with Musk companies in contributions on the Truth Social platform. The connection between the two men seemed very narrow until recently. According to US media reports, Trump did not respond to questions from reporters about Musk’s Epstein claim, which were asked in the White House after an event. Trump had also reported that he was “very disappointed” by Musk and signaled that his close relationship with the former top consultant in the White House had ended.
