“Spider-Man” Tom Holland cannot complain about a lack of work. Then other things come up short.
Tom Holland stars as Nathan Drake in the theatrical adaptation of the PlayStation game Uncharted. It is currently rather rare for the 25-year-old to sit and play in front of the screen himself.
“To be honest, I don’t have much time for video games right now,” Holland told the German Press Agency in London. “But when I’m shooting a film and I’m waiting in my trailer for something to be set up, for the lighting to be set or something like that, then I gamble on the Playstation and really get going.”
According to the “Spider-Man” star, he prefers to play games with a consistent story behind them. “I’m more the story mode guy,” Holland said. «What I don’t like at all is playing online because I can’t take the stress. But I do like to play a game once in a while.”
The US adventure film “Uncharted” by director Ruben Fleischer, starring Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg, opens in German cinemas on Thursday (February 17). The unlikely duo embarks together on an adventurous trip around the world to find a lost pot of gold.
