The Schabernack will return in the coming winter: RTL publishes first insights into the second season of “New Stories from Pumuckl”.
The Schabernack returns to the screens: The private broadcaster RTL has granted the fans of the popular children’s hero Pumuckl a foretaste of the second season published in winter 2025/2026.
“People change, but do not change,” says Pumuckl in the first new one -player. And he also shows that: The little red -haired hero whirls wildly through the workshop of Master Florian, played by Florian Brückner in the second season of “New Stories from Pumuckl”.
In 2023, the elaborate and highly praised production of director Marcus H. Rosenmüller celebrated a big comeback and gave fans a concentrated portion of nostalgia on the screens.
Regardless of whether there is a pranks in physical education or a scraper sack on the lake: the preview promises a lot of “goblin fun”, a mixture of nostalgic charm and fresh humor, although Pumuckl should also inspire both children and adults here again.
The new trailer shows the Kobold in the usual high -spirited manner – sometimes invisible, sometimes suddenly in the middle of chaos. The proven interaction between man and goblin is also preserved: the patient master Florian has to come to terms with small and large surprises by the goblin, which leads to lovingly staged moments full of heart and wit.
Pumuckl remains a crowd favorite
The series sequel will initially only be seen at the RTL+ streaming service and later at RTL and Toggo. “New stories from Pumuckl” was a success in 2023 across all platforms. First spread at RTL+, the first season took the top of the most successful series 2023 in the children’s target group, as the television group reported at the time. In the following broadcast on RTL, the series achieved an average of 1.61 million viewers.
