Sydney Sweeney talks about “psychotic” moments on the set and tells why she had pity with Julianne Moore during her new film.
In recent years, “Euphoria” star Sydney Sweeney (27) has become a secret weapon of Hollywood: The sweet American convinces with her changeability. But she often feels “psychotic”, she admits in a new interview. Her colleagues would even be sorry for her.
The 27-year-old actress is currently on a promo tour for her new film “Echo Valley” (from June 13th on Apple TV+) and was a guest in the. Here the actress spoke about her ability to fall from an emotional extreme to the other in front of the camera.
When asked by the moderator Jimmy Fallon (50), whether she climbed into your trailer on the set to prepare for a challenging scene, and then turn back to the set in her role, replied the actress: “No, I just jump in (into the role, note) and out. It is a bit psychotic”.
Fallon hooks how quickly she can change her state of mind: “You are happy and funny, and then …”, he starts incredulously before Sydney Sweeney interrupts him with the words: “And then say ‘Action’ and then I cry and cry.”
“I’m really malicious”
In “Echo Valley” the full range of these feelings came into play. Especially in the scenes with her film mother, played by Julianne Moore (64). Since Moore was “so friendly and funny”, she “felt so bad” in the dispute scenes with the meek actress. “Because I am … I’m malicious. I’m really malicious,” Sweeney admitted and refers to the character of her film figure.
