After months of color, George Clooney finally showed his characteristic silver -gray hair again.
It was a sight that his fans had been waiting for for a long time: George Clooney (64) was again published by the Tony Awards 2025 in the New York Radio City Music Hall with his characteristic silver -gray hair. The 64-year-old Hollywood star had colored his mane dark for months for his Broadway debut in “Good Night, and Good Luck”-but at the glamorous award ceremony on June 8th he showed himself again as the silver fox that everyone knows and love.
Clooney was nominated for his leading role in the political drama as the “best leading actor in a play”. The piece, a stage adaptation of his successful film from 2005, tells the story of CBS journalist Edward R. Murrow (1908-1965) and his legendary revelation about Senator Joseph McCarthy (1908-1957) in 1954. However, he had to give up acting star Cole Escola (38, “Oh, Mary!”).
Glamorous couple evening with Amal Clooney
At the award ceremony on Clooney’s side, wife Amal Clooney (47) shone in a body -hugging, pearl -decorated dress in white. The human rights lawyer wore her long dark hair open and completed her look with a suitable white clutch. George kept it classic in black tuxedo and proudly presented his natural silver -gray hair. However, some remains of the dark color were still visible.
The transformation back to its natural look should be a liberation for Clooney. He had spoken about his “bad” look a few days earlier. “It looks really bad,” Clooney had been stuck with a cap on his head. “It looks like I’m going through a terrible midlife crisis. I’m 64-for a midlife crisis, that’s a bit late.” His Broadway show “Good Night, and Good Luck” ran from April 3 to June 8th in winter Garden Theater.
