Snoop Dogg plans a burger shop at Celtic Park in Glasgow. The rapper raves about the Scottish fans.

The American rap superstar Snoop Dogg (53) surprises with an unusual business project: The musician from California wants to establish a burger stand in Celtic Park, the home of the traditional Scottish club Celtic Glasgow.

“Stadium meals can also be good”

“I would love to put a pop-up burger stand into a sports stadium to show the fans that stadium meals can be really good,” said the rapper, who is called Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr. with a bourgeois name. He has very specific ideas about his culinary concept.

The 53-year-old already reveals the first details of his burger philosophy: “The secret of a good burger is in love with the preparation. The minced meat has to be mixed with secret spices, then there is high quality cheese and some bacon with maple syrup marinade.” And his idea can be implemented in just one place: “It must be Celtic Park, where else should I bring it.”

The rapper and enthusiastic cook has been photographed several times in the jersey of the “Bhoys” and described the club as “his boys”. He is particularly fascinated by the unique atmosphere in Celtic Park and the passion of the Scottish fans. “If there was a chance to invest in Celtic, I would be crazy if I didn’t think about it” ,. The club mascot in particular did it: “Her mascot is a dog. You couldn’t come up with that. Snoop Dogg becomes Hoopy the Hound.”

Snoop Dogg not only wants to act as an investor for his burger stand, but also plans to serve personally, according to the newspaper. When asked whether he would also offer his burgers at Celtic-Rivale Rangers, Snoop Dogg replied with a laugh: “No, I think we’d rather leave that.”
