Taylor Swift: Fear of Stalker

In recent years, Taylor Swift (35) has become an absolute megastar. However, all the fame also has its dark sides. The US singer could probably write an entire book about this, for the time being there are only a few sentences in a court application.

An injunction was issued against a 45-year-old man from the US state of Colorado, as is the case, among other things, the alleged stalker has to stay with the equivalent of around 90 meters from Swift. On June 30th there should be a hearing that could lead to a more permanent arrangement.

According to media reports, the man has visited the singer’s home in Los Angeles several times since July 2024. Once the man is said to have held a glass bottle in his hand that “could have been used as a weapon”. Visits to the alleged stalker have led to Swift fear for her security and that of her family.

The famous singer has always been dealing with different stalkers in recent years – and not just in the USA. In July last year she also delighted her fans in Gelsenkirchen. “According to information from the event management, the police took a stalker in custody in the run -up to the concert,” said a statement by the Gelsenkirchen police. Before that, there were threats to Swift.
