Mariella Ahrens: New partner already speaks of wedding

A year ago, actress Mariella Ahrens (56) and entrepreneur Marco van Dré (51) met and now rave about the highest tones. “We are really very happy – and I are so happy and relaxed as it has not been for a long time,” emphasizes the “GZSZ” star. And your new partner even thinks of the next big step: “With Mariella I could imagine everything – also get married!”

The couple met for the first time in a bar in Cologne. Van Dré remembers the magical moment: “When our eyes met for the first time, it also sparked directly and then I spoke to it. It was in love for me at first glance!” He discovered her on the dance floor that evening and immediately thought: “What is that for a super attractive woman with an amazing aura?” The rest of the time then passed like in a flash. “We talked and forgot everything around us until the light was on the bar and we were kindly asked. We were the last there.”

The entrepreneur, who has never been married before, raves: “Mariella is my absolute dream woman. The person with whom I want to spend the rest of my life.” The actress reveals that she had been single for around four years before. In this time she also tried a long -distance relationship. “But this attempt made it clear to me that a long -distance relationship with me does not work. I need someone near me. Over time and some relationship experiences, you know what’s up and what is not.”

She longed for a partner “who suits me with whom you can grow old where you are there for each other”. It is worth believing in love. “It can always happen unexpectedly. I am the best example.”

Mariella Ahrens has already made several headlines with her private life. Her eldest daughter Isabella (26) comes from the relationship with the Croatian entrepreneur Dragan Banic. In 2001 the actress then married the investment banker Jost Paffrath. A year later, the couple separated again, followed in 2004. Two years later, she married her second husband, Patrick Graf von Faber-Castell (60), who adopted Isabella after the wedding. The two also got the daughter Lucia (18) together. The separation became known in 2012, which was said to have been back for some time. The former couple has been divorced since 2015.

Marco van Dré comes from Hamburg and has lived near Düsseldorf for the past few years. Like Ahrens, the entrepreneur is also volunteering. So he founded the animal welfare organization Veto. He has not yet been married and has no children, as he emphasizes in the “Bunte” interview.
