Princess Amalia was operated on at the upper arm after a riding accident. Dates are postponed because of their hospital stays.
The Dutch Crown Princess Amalia (21) broke the upper arm last Tuesday in a fall from the horse. The Royals announced this on the same day. “It will undergo an operation in the UMC Utrecht.” The Dutch royal family now gave an update on Wednesday.
Family appointment postponed
Accordingly, the daughter of King Willem-Alexander (58) and Queen Máxima (54) was operated on on Tuesday evening. “The operation went smoothly,” it says. The princess will remain in Umc Utrecht at least until tomorrow.
Amalia’s hospital stay made changes to the royal schedule, as is further communicated. “The summer photo shoot planned for Thursday morning, June 12th in the Huis ten Bosch palace, is postponed to June 30th.” Queen Máxima’s personal calendar was also adjusted for this Wednesday. She will not take part in the CGAP Congress in Amsterdam and Willem-Alexander will take part in the opening of the 78th edition of the Holland Festival for Theater, Dance, Fine Art and Film in Amsterdam without his wife in the evening.
