Beach-Boys co-founder Brian Wilson (1942-2025) died at the age of 82. “We are inconsolable to have to communicate that our beloved father Brian Wilson died,” was informed about his death in an Instagram post of his official account on Wednesday. His family continued in the statement: “We are aware that we share our grief with the world.” These mourning expressed companions of the musician on social media.
“Rest in peace,” honored Rolling-Stones-based member Keith Richards (81) with X. singer Carole King (83): “Brian Wilson was my friend and my brother in songwriting. We shared a similar sensitivity (…). The world will miss Brian, but we are so happy to have his music.”

Brian Wilson founded the band The Beach Boys together with his brothers Dennis (1944-1983) and Carl Wilson (1946-1998), her cousin Mike Love (84) and school friend Alan Jardine (82). He was the songwriter and co-lead singer, played bass guitar and keyboard. With the band he celebrated successes such as “Surfin ‘USA”, “wouldn’t it be nice”, “Good Vibrations” or “California Dreamin'”. The Beach Boys are one of the most successful pop bands of the sixties and early seventies.
