The acting family of Katja Riemann grows: As the “Fack Ju Göhte” star reveals in a podcast, daughter Paula is pregnant.
Actress Katja Riemann (61), among others from the “Fack Ju Göhte” series and films such as “Bandits” and “Comedian Harmonists”, announced sweet family news. From Deutschlandfunk Kultur she reveals moderator Korbinian Frenzel (47) that thanks to her daughter Paula (31) she will soon be a grandmother for the first time.
First of all, the episode revolves around the upcoming play “Di-Vi-Si-on”, in which mother and daughter do a thing. Paula Riemann, who was already in front of the camera and also works as an author and director, stages the SCI-Fi plant, which is playing for almost 20 years in the future. Mother Katja will be on stage in the Renaissance Theater in Berlin from July 7th.
Cooperation is a special challenge, says Katja Riemann, since in person and Paula two generations meet directly. And then it literally bursts out of her in the podcast: “There is a third generation in this production – my daughter is pregnant.” Immediately she also announces the gender of the baby: “So we are three women. A very small woman is being baked there.”
She cannot elicit the date of birth
After warm congratulations from Frenzel and when asked whether the calculated date of birth accidentally falls on the premiere of the play, the actress does not give a concrete answer and only laughs politely.
Paula Riemann is the actor, theater director and stage author Peter Sattmann (77). He had met Katja Riemann during the filming of the television film “No speech” of violence, followed by numerous other joint projects. In 1993 daughter Paula was born. The acting and theater gene has been put in the cradle of the next generation of Riemann.
