Helena Bonham Carter stands out with her look again – but her daughter Nell almost attracts more attention.
A special accompaniment for Helena Bonham Carter (59): Together with her 17-year-old daughter Nell, the British actress visited the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition Preview Party in London.
Like the mother the daughter
The mother-daughter duo attracted everyone’s attention with its extraordinary looks. The “Harry Potter” actress is known for her eccentric style of clothing, but is often criticized by fashion critics. With a black flower dress, red bandana and chunky platform shoes, she lived up to her reputation again.
Her daughter seems to have inherited her mother’s idiosyncratic style. She came to the event in a salmon-colored dress with mussel edge sleeves. With her dark curls and the striking pony, the teenager looked like a perfect mix of her famous mother and father Tim Burton (66). Together, the two posed for the cameras.
Work and privately connected to Tim Burton
The actress and the cult director were a couple for 13 years. She also played in many of his films, such as in “Sweeney Todd” (2007) or “Alice in Wonderland” (2010). In 2014 they announced their separation. The couple then shared custody for Nell and her 21-year-old brother Billy.
There is a good reason that Helena rarely accompany her children into public. “It is much more difficult to be a mother than an actress,” admitted the “Crown” actress. After Nell’s birth, she even visited educational courses – a decision that she never regretted.
“They really teach me interesting things, for example that it is not my job to know everything,” revealed Helena at the time. “You have to make them think yourself. What relief. I don’t have to know everything.”
