Johnny Depp and Penélope Cruz: “Day Drinker” stars visit Museum in Madrid

At the moment, Johnny Depp (62) is likely to have a lot of work with his upcoming film “Day Drinker”. With his co-star Penélope Cruz (51), however, the actor has apparently approved a little break. The “Curse of the Caribbean” star and his colleague can be seen together in the Art Museum in Madrid by Depp and Museo Reina Sofía. The two published photos were taken recently.

Shown about two months ago with a first picture in his new role. It has been the first major Hollywood production for the actor for several years-and since his much-noticed court dispute with his ex-wife Amber Heard (39), in which in 2022 was finally primarily decided in favor of Depps. Since then, the 62-year-old has appeared in the French film “Jeanne du Barry” and directed “Modi: Three Days on the Wing of Madness”, but he only returns to the big Hollywood stage with “Day Drinker”.

The path to the museum should not have been too far, since in April it reported that the production of the new film in Spain had started. It is already the fourth collaboration between Depp and Cruz after the films “Blow”, “Pirates of the Caribbean: Foreign Tides” and “Murder in the Orient Express”. In “Day Drinker”, in addition to the two, Madadyn Cline (27) and “Élite” star Manu Ríos (26) are said to appear.

“Day Drinker” is said to be a thriller in which a bartender (CLINE) meets a mysterious guest (Depp) on board a yacht. The two then get involved in the criminal machinations of a figure played by Cruz. “I look forward to starting production with Johnny, Madelyn, Penélope and this incredible line -up,” said the magazine director Marc Webb (50). “We are in a beautiful place with a fantastic crew and an exciting, wild story that we can tell. It will be fun.”
