Andrea Kiewel lives in Tel Aviv – and moderates the “television garden” on Sundays live in Mainz. But she cannot travel to her anniversary program. Joachim Llambi and Lutz van der Horst represent them.
Because of the blocked airspace over Israel, Andrea Kiewel cannot moderate the ZDF program “TV Garden” this Sunday. This was announced by the public broadcaster on Saturday morning. The moderator lives in Tel Aviv. Joachim Llambi (60) and Lutz van der Horst (49) represent them “unique” on Sunday.
Llambi (“Let’s Dance”) and van der Horst (“Today Show”) were already planned as guests on the show, the ZDF said.
For Kiewel it is the 25th “television garden” season this year. The open-air show at the ZDF broadcast center in Mainz-Lerchenberg has been around since 1986. In 2000, Kiewel took over the moderation. Previously, Ilona Christians and Ramona Leiß had presented the show.
Sunday should be celebrated “Kiwis 25th anniversary”
This year’s season started on May 4th and is scheduled to include 20 programs by the end of September. This Sunday (June 15th) the motto show “Kiwis 25th anniversary” was planned.
Katja Ebstein, Marianne Rosenberg, Peter Schilling, Eko Fresh, Johnny Logan, Guildo Horn, Tom Gaebel and Marquess have been announced as guests of the “television garden” on Sunday from 12 noon.
Kiewel once said the “Bild am Sonntag” about her second home in Israel: “In the” TV Garden “season, I mostly regulated it so that I went on the plane at 6 p.m. on Sunday and open my small apartment in Tel Aviv at midnight (…).”
