Shock for Carmen and Robert Geiss: The entrepreneur couple was robbed in his villa in southern France and injured. The 61-year-old describes what happened.
They own an apartment in Dubai, an estate in Saint-Tropez and lived in the Principality of Monaco for many years: Robert and Carmen Geiss have built up a fortune-and also like to point their luxury outwards. However, the stay in her villa on the Côte d’Azur was now a nightmare: the couple was attacked and robbed in his villa.
“We have been attacked in our own house in Saint-Tropez, from the finest of four armed idiots. Saint-Tropez is unfortunately not sure of God,” says Robert Geiss in a video that he published on his Instagram page. The clip was recorded from Saturday to Sunday and shows the 61-year-old how he runs completely dissolved over his property and apparently receives police officers. Geiss says that the perpetrators had forced him to open the safes. He does not reveal what exactly was stolen.

In a second video, the entrepreneur reports that his wife Carmen was choked in the attack and had a cut on his neck. The perpetrators himself had stepped into his ribs. “I think I broke up a rib. It is not too bad, but what do you want to do against four people with a cannon,” says Geiss. In the video you can see how the ambulance drives on the villa and paramedics enter the house.
The couple’s daughters, Shania and Davina Geiss, were apparently not at home at the time of the attack, but were in Monaco. The 20-year-old Shania commented on her father’s contribution with the words: “It is so sad to see that we are nowhere really safe, not even at all. I hope we think they are destroyed that they have hurt you, but I am so grateful that the worst did not happen!”
Her sister Davina wrote: “I can’t believe all of this! My heart is destroyed. I am so shocked when I got the call from mom and she was so crying. My parents were so hurt the pigs. This world is just sick, there are so many bad people. There are so many bad things. But that was by far the worst that has ever happened.”
Robert Geiss hopes that the surveillance cameras have recorded everything in order to identify and transfer the perpetrators. “We are glad that we survived,” writes Geiss.
