Photographer Felix Stein hopes to find great love in the RTL dating show “Die Bachelors”. The 32-year-old has had little good experiences in his hometown of Berlin.
Felix Stein, one of the two new RTL “Bachelors”, complains about the dating mentality in Germany’s capital. “Berlin is really not an ideal city to get to know someone. Dating in Berlin is quite a horror,” said the 32-year-old of the German Press Agency. He is a Berliner himself.
The problem is the great non -binding. “I think that is because the city is so big and so many people come and go. There are always an incredible number of tourists, which tends to invite you to make such a kind of short-term dating,” said the photographer. “All sorts of dating apps also start in Berlin, everything starts. There is too much choice.”
“Bachelor” Felix Stein has a son
He couldn’t clear himself from it either. Certainly there was a time when he couldn’t really bind himself. “But this phase has been over for a few years,” he emphasized. Therefore, he also thought that the RTL dating show “Die Bachelors” could be a good way to find his future wife. Stein is the father of a son who was born in 2019. The boy’s mother is Avelina Boateng, sister of footballer Jérôme Boateng.
Felix Stein is one of two men who look for a dream woman in the new season of the show. Next to him, the Cologne insurance specialist Martin Braun also goes into a dating marathon under the sun in South Africa. RTL shows the first episode of the new season on Wednesday, June 18 at 8:15 p.m. on TV. At RTL+ it can be seen in advance.
RTL had tried the concept with two bachelors willing to love last year. Therefore, the show is no longer called “the Bachelor”, but in the plural “the Bachelors”.
Transparency note: The star is part of RTL Germany.
