In the clip Andreas is honest to see how he sticks a cooling pad to his temple and says: “I still burn? My face is hot.” His brother commented on the post with the words: “Gone again well. Happiness in misfortune! After all, my brother now has a brand new hairstyle!” The “Bild” newspaper said Andreas Ehrlich: “Wrong movement at the wrong moment, that could have been worse.”

In fact, it is not the first time that the Ehrlich Brothers injured themselves during their tricks. “I had an accident on stage. I fell on my side with my motorcycle and broke a rib. And another time my hair started to burn. Fire, error – puff. One thing I even crashed when flying. Something like that. But luckily,” said Chris Ehrlich in an interview in 2023.
The accident happened during the rehearsals, the final show takes place on Sunday afternoon in the Dortmund Westfalenhalle and is to be recorded for the ZDF. The broadcast is planned for this autumn – hopefully without burning hair.
