Pat Benatar frames legendary T-shirt
A piece of clothing that tells music history: singer Pat Benatar framed a striped top from the 80s. Why the T-shirt is so special.
US singer Pat Benatar kept a special piece of clothing from the 80s. “The striped T-shirt from my first music video on MTV” is still in its possession, as the singer told the “People” magazine. The 72 -year -old was carried out in the video for “You Better Run” – the second music video that was ever shown on MTV after the start of the music station with “Video Killed the Radio Star” by “The Buggles”.
Her daughter Hana Giraldo (31) would like to have the T-shirt, “she begged every week,” said Benatar. “But we hide it. It is in a frame and she can’t have it.” Benatar has been married to musician Neil Giraldo since 1982, the two have two daughters. The singer is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
