Angelique Kerber has become a mother again. After her daughter Liana, a son was born. There were also congratulations from several tennis colleagues.
The ex-tennis player Angelique Kerber, 37, gave birth to her second child. On Sunday evening, June 15th, she reported to the sweet news on her Instagram account. For a black and white picture, she also revealed the gender and the name of the new earthly citizen.
A son named Ben
“Welcome to our family, Ben,” Kerber wrote to a blue heart emoji and a baby bottle. “Our hearts are filled with love and gratitude, now that you are finally in our arms.” She continued to share: “You are already loved so much, and we can’t wait to see you grow and discover this beautiful world with us.” In addition, the former tennis professional posted a picture that shows the hands of the now four family.

Angelique Kerber was born in Bremen in 1988 and moved to Kiel with her family at the age of eight months. At the age of three, she held her first tennis racket in her hand. After completing the junior high school, she decided to use her talent professionally in tennis. Her mother Beata took the managerial post of her up -and -coming career, while her father Sławek headed her first training session.

Angelique Kerber ended her career in the summer of 2024
In February 2023, Kerber became a mother for the first time. The tennis star wrote on Instagram at the time: “Welcome to our family, Liana *25.02.2023”.
In July 2024, the former world rankings, who won the silver medal at the 2016 Olympic Games, ended her career. She had celebrated victories at the Australian Open, the US Open (both in 2016) and 2018 in Wimbledon.
