Baptism of Princess Ines: Palast publishes official pictures
The Swedish royal family celebrated the baptism of Princess Ines. One day after the ceremony there are now the official photos with sponsors and family members.
On June 13th, the baptism of Princess Ines was celebrated in the Swedish royal family. The palace has now published three official pictures of the big event, which can also be found on Instagram. For the photos, Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia of Sweden with her four children took a seat on a sofa.
The family shows a recording alone. Prince Gabriel is based on his mother, who in turn holds the sleeping Ines in his arms. At four months, she now had her first official photo shoot. In his military uniform, Carl Philip sat next to Prince Julian and Prince Alexander, who like her brother wear a light suit. Particularly cute: Carl Philip holds in the photo with Prince Julian Handchen.

Another photo shows the family with Queen Silvia and King Carl Gustaf, who posing for the photo behind them. Next to them are Marie and Erik Hellqvist, Sofia’s parents. For the third photo, the prince family was photographed with the baptismal sponsors of Ines. In addition to Princess Estelle, the daughter of Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel, the latest Royal offspring has four more sponsors. These include Frederik von der Esch, sponsor of Queen Silvia, as well as Claes and Sandrine Kockum, who are friends with the prince couple. Tiara Larsson, a friend of Sofia, is also a godmother of Ines. In the third picture, Prince Julian was particularly looking for closeness to his father: instead of sitting next to him, he switched to his lap.

Baptism of Princess Ines on her parents’ wedding anniversary
For the baptism of Princess Ines, large parts of the royal family appeared, including Princess Madeleine with her family. Sofia’s sisters Sara and Lina Hellqvist also celebrated the big day of Ines in the castle band Drottningholm. It fell on a special date: Sofia and Carl Philip married ten years ago on June 13th. In keeping with this, the song “Till Mitt Sista Andeag” (“up to my last breath”) is said to have been played at the beginning of the ceremony, which was also sung at your wedding. Sofia itself wrote the text and music.
