After Matthew Perry’s death: doctor is guilty

A doctor who is accused of having given Matthew Perry (1969-2023) shortly before his death obtained the pain and anesthetic releases ketamine is apparently guilty. It is approved to guilty in four cases of the sales of Ketamine, according to a statement by the public prosecutor. He threatens a maximum penalty of 40 years in prison.

He had taken the drug to treat depression, but apparently looked for more ketamine than his doctor wanted to give him. He is said to have come across Plasencia about a month before his death. The doctor is said to have asked another doctor to obtain the medication for him, as can be seen from court files according to US media reports.

After selling the medication to Perry, Plasencia is said to have asked his colleagues whether he could continue to supply him with it so that they could become Perry’s “contact point”, according to the public prosecutor.

Matthew Perry fought for years with addiction problems, starting with his time at “Friends” when the actor became a big star as a Chandler Bing. From 1994 to 2004, he played a leading role in the series alongside Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt Leblanc and David Schwimmer.
