Main -accused doctor in the event of death Matthew Perry admits guilt
After the death of “Friends” star Matthew Perry, several defendants have to answer in court. One of them, a doctor, is now guilty.
A doctor, who is accused of the death of the US actor Matthew Perry, will probably be guilty of court in the coming week. The main accused Salvador Plasencia said that his guilt “in the sales of Ketamine in four cases” said, the US Ministry of Justice said on Monday (local time). The defendant therefore threatens a punishment of up to 40 years in prison.

The doctor illegally provided Perry in 2023 with the anesthetic ketamine at very excessive prices and administered it by injection, according to a declaration by the Ministry of Justice. Plasencia is responsible for the early death of the “Friends” star at the age of 54 a year.
The doctor is the fourth of five accused in the case. A second doctor, the 54-year-old Mark Chavez, was guilty in October last year. A fifth suspect, who known Jasveen Sangha in Hollywood circles as “Ketamine Queen”, rejects the allegations.
Perry’s addiction is said to have exploited the accused
Ketamine is used by doctors as an aesthetic and also to treat depression. Because of its hallucinogenic effects, it is also traded on the black market for drug users.
The US prosecutor accuses the five accused of having exploited Perry’s addiction problems to “enrich”. Perry was found dead in the whirlpool of his house in Los Angeles at the end of October 2023. According to the forensic medicine report, he died of the “acute effects of ketamine”.
