In the second “Kaulitz & Kaulitz” season: that’s why Bill and Marc separated

The relationship between Tokio Hotel front man Bill Kaulitz (35) and Ballermann singer Marc Eggers (38) failed, but the public has not yet experienced the public. In the second season of the Netflix series “Kaulitz & Kaulitz”, which was released on June 17, Bill now reveals details about the dramatic love-off.

For the first time, the two men were seen at the Munich Oktoberfest 2023. The liaison immediately made headlines. But for a long time it seemed unclear whether the two could become something. In the first season of the Netflix series, Bill was totally crush, but also unsafe. In the spring of 2024, the first severe crisis occurred, as can now be seen in the opening sequence of the sequel. “I ended everything with Marc,” explains Bill sadly. “He was impressed by what was already done to me in my past relationships.” Then the singer becomes even more concrete: “For me, the biggest shock was when I got messages from women that they slept with Marc, had an affair or a relationship – parallel to me!” A woman even told him that she received the red heart balloons from Eggers that Bill Kaulitz had given him.

The Tokyo Hotel star shows itself to be destroyed: “I am Heartbroken and I’m afraid that I will not fall in love forever now. I just don’t have a happy hand.”

But after a heartache phase, he found Eggers again. In autumn 2024, the two showed themselves publicly at the feelings of happiness and again at the Oktoberfest. “Marc just noticed that he has too many feelings for me,” emphasizes Bill Kaulitz. They both decided to fight for love despite all the headwinds, to give themselves another chance and no longer hide. Also a big step for the 35-year-old: “I have never shown myself publicly with someone in 20 years, Marc is the first.” They even supported each other in appearances.

But shortly before the start of the Tokyo Hotel-US tour at the end of November 2024, the next bang followed: According to Bill, Marc wrote a two-liner six hours before his departure to Los Angeles that he would not come. “It was actually clear that it was over.”

Bill Kaulitz sums up sadly in the eighth and last episode: “I am ashamed of not seeing what everyone else said to me.” He had hoped too much that Marc Eggers could still work.

The Ballermann star, who danced at “Let’s Dance” in spring, has not yet commented on the new details. In February 2025, Eggers contacted his Instagram followers with a serious video message. He gets “countless homophobic insults, really countless hate messages, homophobic news, murder threats, insults up and down.” He was scared about it. The influencer continues: “In today’s world, I didn’t think it was so extreme and for a long time. It’s just sad”.
