“Only ten minutes on foot to the beach”: Judith Rakers raves about her new farm on the island of Rügen.
Moderator Judith Rakers (49) enjoys closeness to the sea with all her animals on Rügen. The Baltic island is “its favorite island for many years”, says the 49-year-old, who previously lived in Hamburg, the magazine “Gala”. In 2010 she discovered the island for herself and has been “on vacation at least twice a year”.
According to Rakers, she now has many friends there, Rügen feels like a second home. The former “Tagesschau” spokeswoman is now building up a new farm on a piece of land. “It is very close to the sea, I only need ten minutes on foot to the beach,” Rakers “Gala” reveals. Also there are their two cats, two horses and ten chickens: “I couldn’t imagine living somewhere without them.” It is difficult for her to leave her house in Hamburg, says Rakers: “But that’s always the case when you get up: you leave the old. You are not able to develop if we don’t. I have always been a person who hugs the change.”
Judith Rakers announced her move in April
On Instagram, the nature lover has already shared impressions of her new home and her freshly created garden with her fans. Judith Rakers had already announced her moving plans in early April.
