“I know: what about pop star Justin Bieber?

There was a time when Justin Bieber (31) caused a sensation with his music. Admittedly, this phase in the work of the Canadian star was very short. With his cover versions, which he recently brought into people on the recent years, Bieber blossomed into a pop cultural phenomenon, intimately adored by his “popular”.

In 2025 the news situation is different. “I know I’m broken,” Bieber writes. “I know that I have aggression problems,” he adds, and asks the question: “Do not believe that if I could have been able to put myself in order, I couldn’t have done that long ago?” But in fact, a look into the past shows that he has tried this several times.

Even in adulthood, such an explosive fame can climb up to Head as a child. In his case, it is therefore really surprising how long he knew how to write positive news: First record contract with 14, debut album at 16 and at the age of 18 the first artist ever to have five number one albums in the USA at this age. Countless awards, including two Grammys and various MTV Music Awards, came along.

But in 2014 and not yet 20 years old, perception changed. His Mugshot images after an illegal street race in Miami Beach, reportedly under the influence of alcohol and drugs, went around the world at the time: with glassy eyes, a wide smile and in orange prison clothing, the Bieber just arrested looked into the camera. Positive, negative and sometimes tragic reports were then balanced. Persistent musical successes with its albums “Changes” and “Justice”, which stormed the worldwide charts in 2020 and 2021. Various philanthropic projects and last but not least the wedding with Model Hailey Baldwin (28) in 2018, the “more popular” rejoiced.

From 2020, however, in addition to the psychological health problems. that he was diagnosed with lyme-borreliosis, usually transmitted by tick bites.

The next shock two years later: Bieber had to take a tour of the tour because he had found Ramsay Hunt syndrome. “This virus attacks the nerve in my ear and my facial nerves and has led to paralysis of my face”, the symptoms. His luck: Timely treatment led to no permanent nerve damage remained.

Instead, there were primarily worrying news, even with regard to his first child together and marriage to Hailey. On social media, he was accused of a negligent, sometimes even dangerous way of dealing with his son Jack, based on photos that caused plenty of discussions. It was only in May that Hailey Bieber, as cover star of the “Vogue”, was forced to defend her marriage to the musician.

His new post should not help that the two will have to deal with crisis rumors less in the future. At the same time, the honest and self -critical contribution shows that the musician is aware of his problems. He neither displaced nor hide it. And he now seems to be enriched by the knowledge not to be able to get rid of it completely independently, but to need help. A realization that is sometimes the most difficult of all.
