Carmen Geiss and her husband Robert were victims of a robbery in their house in Saint-Tropez. With Frauke Ludowig you talk about the details and show the crime scene.

Three days after the terrible attack, moderator Frauke Ludowig visited the Geissens in her villa in Saint-Tropez. Together with your guest you go from room to room, tell what was going on from Saturday to Sunday.

“Four men penetrated through the patio door,” says the couple, which is still under shock. Robert Geiss had forgotten to lock her. They were on the couch when the black -clad burglars appeared in front of them, they were all masked. Ludowy looks around in the living room, even a few traces of blood can be seen, because Carmen Geiss in particular was injured. She was choked, her husband Robert kicked, the jewelry was torn from the body. The couple says that they looked at themselves and both thought the same thing. They were afraid of death.

Carmen Geiss still can’t speak properly

During the interview, Carmen’s voice is still hoarse and proves: “That comes from choking,” she explains, although the attack was three days ago. But the Geissens are not just victims, they are primarily fighters. While they were attacked, both thought about whether they had to go to the fireplace cutlery and defend themselves against the burglars. But four men were just too much, they didn’t dare.

“We just had to make it into the bedroom wing, which is like a kind of panic tract, the door is closed, it is too,” both explain. But the perpetrators blocked the hallway and grabbed everything that could be worth value. “Around eight bags, especially Dior and Louis Vuitton, were stolen. They had an eye for what is valuable,” the Geissens say about the burglars.

In their search for valuables, the perpetrators also caught the eye. Carmen Geiss was held a pistol on the temple: “If you don’t say the code, I showed you,” the perpetrator threatened, the woman reports. The perpetrators captured around 200,000 euros in cash. One of them even drank rose wine in peace. The Geissens have lifted the bottle, for securing evidence.

They packed everything they could wear, lost one or the other bag on the way. When the air was in, they ran off Geissens, get help. They called the police, but according to their own statement, they were not directly put through: “Waiting loop with the police, like the pizza service.” So they set up again to call their daughter and ask to call the police. Carmen Geiss then ran to the caretaker that security was faster than the police in five to ten minutes.

Now they want to leave the house and move to their domicile in Monaco. “We are now going to Monaco and have the security concept revised,” they say.
