Robert and Carmen Geiss experienced a nightmare when armed people entered their house. Your lawyer speaks of a “attempted murder”.
Robert (61) and Carmen Geiss (60) have experienced a real nightmare. Four armed people entered their villa near Saint-Tropez on Sunday night and robbed the prominent TV couple. In conversation with moderator Frauke Ludowig (61), the two describe their emotional situation after the attack – even a “attempted murder”.
Carmen Geiss: “They can’t break me”
“Actually, I am strong and think: ‘They can’t break me.’ They can’t do that either, “says the visibly moving Carmen Geiss in a section of the conversation that was. But then there are also situations in which they “collapse a bit”. Then she asked herself: “What if?” Robert Geiss indicates that the couple obviously does not like to talk about the incident. “We said that. We don’t want to think about it. What could have happened … what happened …”
They had no chance against “four armed cupboards”, he recalled after the incident. “The guy I get started came up with me,” said Robert Geiss. While he was injured on the ribs, one of the armed people grabbed his wife, “she choked and added a wound to her neck”. The wound. The experienced was a “shock, an earthquake that my innermost shaken,” she wrote. “Even if I often seem strong, even if I have learned to deal with a lot – something like that doesn’t go past you without a trace.” Now start “the long way of processing”.
The two mostly got away with the horror, reports Robert Geiss Ludowig. “The fact is, thank God nothing happens,” he says, while she throws in: “It happened enough.” At the end of the day it was an attack on his wife’s life. “The lawyer in Germany clearly says: ‘That was an attempted murder.’ […] The fact is clearly fulfilled. It was not just a robbery, but with attempted murder and theft. So it couldn’t be worse. “
